This beautiful crinoid is from the Holzmaden quarry in Germany. The preservation on this fossil is outstanding, as you can see from the incredible details in the head. It has a great stem and then another two heads visible at the log. The matrix it sits within provides a wonderful contrast with the fossil itself, making this a true piece of art. This is truly a museum specimen.
